These are a few of the chants we have used in our rituals and ceremonies. Sound will be added later. Unless otherwise listed, the author of these chants is unknown. Please do send in any you would like included.

The river is flowing
Flowing and growing
The river is flowing
Down to the sea

Mother a carry me
Your child I'll ever be
Mother a carry me
Down to the sea

We are an old people
We are a new people
We are the same people
Stronger than before.

Sacred is the Mother
Sacred is the birth
Honour to creation
Honour to the Earth

As Sisters in the Goddess
We give our love to you
Power of the Sisterhood
We will help you through

Written by Annabell of The Old Ways in 2008
specifically for her friend Emma's rites of passage ceremony when pregnant with her second child Lucas.

Lady spin your circle bright
Weave your web of dark and light
Earth, air, fire and water
Bind us as one
We all come from the Goddess
And to her we shall return
Like a drop of rain
Flowing to the ocean.

Written by Z. Budapest
Earth my body, water my blood
Air my breath and fire my spirit.
Hoof and horn, hoof and horn
All that dies shall be reborn
Corn and grain, corn and grain
All that falls shall rise again.

We are Sisters in The Goddess
We have the power
As we come together
Our voice will be heard

Written by Annabell of The Old Ways 2008

May the Circle be open yet forever unbroken
May the love of the Goddess be forever in your hearts
Merry meet and merry part
And merry meet again

Throughout the world, the drum is used to create rhythm and harmony. In some cultures it helps with meditation, in others it is the source that lifts the spirits. When used behind a chant, the power and energy raised can be amazing
