What we do to Mother Earth we do to ourselves, for we are simply a small part of the same oneness. Our society and Mother Earth are at a point of crisis

Whether you consider the climate change to be part of the planet's evolution, due to our disrespect and mistreatment, or a bit of both, we have to do something to change things.

If you have something you would like to contribute we would love to hear from you.

Plastics! Must be one of the biggest issues at present. What is it all about? What can we do to change things? What is your view?

Pesticides. Do people really understand the consequences of using pesticides and chemicals. It's not just killing pests and killing weeds, the use of these chemicals is effecting the whole chain of nature. We now have less bees to pollinate the plants, less birds and more of all of the things they used to keep in check. There are so many other similar stories.

Do you think if more people understood Mother Earth, the seasonal changes, and the fact we are simply a part of nature and we don't 'own' this planet, that humanity might act differently? Send us your thoughts.

There are so many women's issues we could focus on, we are having trouble deciding. Please let us know if you have something to say, or a preference to which particular issues you would like us to support.

Over the last few years I have tried a lot harder to reduce my environmental footprint and an allotment seemed like a great place to start. Not only does the food taste so much better but it comes plastic free. No chemical - no pesticides - we simply let nature take it's course. There is nothing more amazing than watching something so small as a seed grow into something we can eat - it's pure magic. Vegetable waste is recycled on the allotment alongside all the shredded paper and we have reduced our weekly garbage to less than half a bin bag !
